Description des services:

Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:- Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, Armstrong office
- Hospital services available in Thunder Bay; Clinic services available in Armstrong located 70 km from community
- Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through OPP, Gull Bay Police Service
- Provides a combined Fire Station/Police Station
- Offers a community school which is temporarily closed but current Chief and Council working to have it reopen
- Organizes community events such as feasts at the Community Recreation Centre
- Publishes a monthly online community newsletter
- Hosts an Annual Pow Wow in August
- Offers an Education Department under the Nokiiwin Tribal Council; provides bus transportation for children up to Grade 8 who mostly attend Armstrong Public School
- Administers basic health care and health programs at the Gull Bay Health Clinic
- Operates a Community Food Market
- Gull Bay has a new water plant under construction, slated to be completed by the end of March, 2021; the $25-million project is to replace a water plant built about 20 years ago, that never properly functioned; plant completed in Feb 2022
