Administers programs and services focused on improving the quality of life for Indigenous people living in an urban environment
Offers an education to employment program for single Indigenous mothers- Administers a four-year wrap-around program that provides essential services for vulnerable, Indigenous single mothers to break the cycle of dependency on social services and become self-sufficient
- Program steps include a pre-course, a college diploma course, a one-year on the job training and then assistance to find adequate employment
Provides services to assist with:- Affordable housing
- Child care
- Education
- Employment training

Requires initial intake assessment and interview to determine eligibility

Admissibilité / population desservie:
|
- Indigenous, single mothers, 19 years of age or older, unemployed or underemployed and able to attend post-secondary education in 6-8 months
- Must be fluent in English, living in the Dryden area, able to commit to a 4 year program, have no current criminal proceedings, and at least one child 17 years or younger
- Must have a professional reference
