Description des services: Offers an education to employment program for single Indigenous mothers
  • Administers a four-year wrap-around program that provides essential services for vulnerable, Indigenous single mothers to break the cycle of dependency on social services and become self-sufficient
  • Program steps include a pre-course, a college diploma course, a one-year on the job training and then assistance to find adequate employment

  • Affordable housing
  • Child care
  • Education
  • Employment training

Procédé et formulaires: Requires initial intake assessment and interview to determine eligibility
Admissibilité / population desservie:
  • Indigenous, single mothers, 19 years of age or older, unemployed or underemployed and able to attend post-secondary education in 6-8 months


  • Must be fluent in English, living in the Dryden area, able to commit to a 4 year program, have no current criminal proceedings, and at least one child 17 years or younger


  • Must have a professional reference
