Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Couchiching First Nation

Coordinates a toy lending library and delivers programs and services in conjunction with the Aboriginal Healthy Babies Healthy Children (AHBHC) program to promote child development and to enhance the lives of both child and parentOffers daily/weekly rotating activities such as arts and crafts, baking, circle and story times, cultural activities and teachings, swimming and educational sessions on topics such as Fetal Alcohol SyndromeRegular programs can include but are not limited to:
- Community Kitchen
- Cooking With Kids
- Drop In Play and Learn Sessions
- Mini Chef Program
- Moms and Babes
Toy Lending Library
- Lends a variety of toys and equipment such as playpens and strollers for use at home for a maximum of 2 weeks
- Provides monthly milk coupons for pre/post natal families
