Description des services: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Couchiching First Nation
  • Tribal Council: Pwi-di-goo-zing Ne-yaa-zhing Advisory Services
  • Political Territorial Organization: Grand Council Treaty #3 (GCT3)

Functions as the governing centre for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to:
  • Hospital services available at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances
  • Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Treaty #3 Police; call 1-888-310-1122 for police services to be dispatched to reserve
  • Owns and operates Couchiching Bingo Palace
  • Provides the Couchiching Child Care Centre also known as 4 C's Daycare
  • Owns and operates the 18-hole Heron Landing Golf Course
  • Offers recreational activities and events for community members including a fully-equipped men's and women's gym, a sportsfield and parks, summer day camps for youth and a Toy Lending Library
  • Provides a community convenience store and gasbar
