Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek First Nation- Nokiiwin Tribal Council (NTC)

Organization: IndependentRobinson-Superior Treaty
Provides services that promote physical and mental health for community members
- Collaborates with community partners to provide access to health care services and support
- Provides health awareness and counselling, education and prevention workshops
- Coordinates clinics/workshops in areas that may include Immunization, Sexual Health, Smoking Cessation and Communicable Diseases
Addresses individual health care needs by providing:
- Intake services to determine health care needs of individual
- Referrals to appropriate health care providers based on information in the intake assessment
- Advocacy and support on behalf of individual with other health professionals
- Coordination of one-on-one pre-natal care
- Home visits to the sick, elderly, new mothers and persons with health care needs
- Assistance with coordinating local and long distance travel arrangements for medical appointments
Coordinates events for members including:
- Adult and Children's Christmas parties
- Father's Day dinners
- Mother's Day luncheons
- Summer Picnics
