Description des services: Offers culturally appropriate programs and services for Indigenous youth at eight community schools
Programs provided include:
  • In-school student literacy/numeracy support, mentoring, role modeling, cultural teachings and activities, pow wows and cultural workshops
  • After-school programs including cultural teachings/activities, homework and study help, recreational activities and life/living skills teachings
  • Food security education including healthy lunch/snack programs, promotion of nutritious eating and traditional teachings related to food and hunting, gathering and harvesting
  • Structured activities to promote social and recreational experiences such as Family Literacy Nights and Family Drop-in evenings
