Description des services: Provides culturally appropriate education, programs and support to improve the health of expectant Indigenous women and their babies
  • Promotes pre/post natal nutrition and healthy lifestyles
  • Provides information and support for all stages of pregnancy, including preparation for labour and delivery
  • Provides breastfeeding education and information
  • Offers adult and teen individual and group prenatal classes
  • Offers home and hospital visits
  • Provides infant formula and baby food to individuals in an emergency situation
  • Provides an infant weigh scale for use anytime
  • Provides referrals to other supports and services
  • Provides cultural craft times and teachings
Nutrition Education
  • Teaches about shopping on a budget
  • Advises on pre/postnatal nutrition and food supplements
  • Offers information and education about gardening
Our Family Circle
  • Offers fellowship and information on parenting and related topics for parents



Frais: Service - Small fee for rental of electric breast pumps and infant car seats; None for other services

  • Requires a signed consent form and completion of a program intake form

  • Call ahead to reserve breast pump or infant car seat, rented on first come basis
