Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:
  • Construction and maintenance of roads
  • Maintenance of band-owned vehicles and community construction equipment
  • Operation of water treatment plant and maintenance of related equipment
  • Repairs and upkeep of community buildings
  • Snow removal
  • Street lighting
  • Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
  • Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
Announcement Feb 2020: Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is providing over $8 million for the design and construction of a new water treatment plant which will eliminate two long-term drinking water advisories and restore clean and safe drinking water to community members; new state-of-the-art water treatment plant and water distribution system completed in summer 2021
