Description des services: Responsible for planning, developing and implementing social, recreational and special events for members of the community from school aged to elders
  • Provides recreational services at the Sandy Lake First Nation Arena
  • Maintains arena ice surface and equipment
  • Oversees a volunteer-operated concession booth at arena
  • Provides a community outdoor ice rink known as Moccasin Square Garden
  • Coordinates community events such as Treaty Days
  • Works with other community programs to host organized events
Coordinates a variety of activities including:
  • Annual Derek Kakegamic Memorial hockey tournament
  • Seasonal broomball games
  • Cheyanne Kakegamic Memorial broomball tournament
  • Annual Fishing Derby with top prize of new truck
  • Winter road bingo game
