  • Operates a regional network of people from all backgrounds working together to promote citizenship, preserve cultures, combat racism and promote getting along
  • Advocates for the multicultural associations and minority groups throughout the region
  • Assists new immigrants and refugees to settle and to integrate into Canadian life
  • Promotes citizenship
  • Functions as the support behind the Regional Multicultural Youth Council, providing guidance, office space and financial support
  • Community Access Program
    • Provides individuals with public access to the Internet and the skills they need to use it effectively
    • Plays a crucial role in bridging the digital divide
    • Contributes to the foundation for electronic access to government services
    • Encourages online learning and literacy
    • Fosters the development of community based infrastructure
    • Promotes Canadian e-commerce
    • Other services available include faxing, photocopying, scanning and printing of documents
