Description des services: Operates a mutual support group for injured workers and their families
Provides the following Injured Worker Outreach Services (IWOS):
  • Offers advice and assistance on how to handle injured worker claims
  • Provides information about the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) policies and procedures
  • Provides peer support and counselling
  • Advises workers about other agencies that offer help to injured workers
  • Participates in law reform to improve the system
  • Provides public education about the needs and problems of injured workers and workers compensation issues
Also coordinates meetings in Ear Falls upon request
