You must register for T9-1-1 with your wireless service provider, and you must have a compatible cell phone. T9-1-1 should only be used for emergency situations that require a response from police, fire or emergency medical services

    • Collaboration between MedicAlert and the OPP to ensure police officers have direct 24/7 access to important information about people who have a tendency to wander, including those living with autism, Alzheimer's, dementia or other cognitive brain injuries
    • Gives police officers 24-hour access to a registered subscriber's photo, identifying information, past wandering history, triggers, de-escalation techniques and other information through the MedicAlert database
