Functions as a medical clinic
Offers a multi-disciplinary health team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Registered Practical Nurses dedicated to providing quality primary care and walk-in servicesProvides access to other health care professionals within and outside of the ClinicCoordinates documentation if patient receives care from a member of the teamProvides house calls to individuals unable to attend the clinic or hospitalCoordinates visiting specialist appointments in the areas of orthopedics, eyes, ears and throat, and oncologyParticipates in teaching with a regular rotation of medical students and residents from Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM)Offers primary health care including but not limited to:- Chronic disease management
- Health promotion
- Disease prevention
- Nutritional counselling
