Provides a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Indigenous peoples residing in or migrating to the city
Provides support in the areas of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and NutritionWorks with parents, family members, caregivers and service providers in identifying ways to adapt the FASD affected individual's environment in response to their needsOffers services such as:- FASD counselling, information and support
- Assistance with the diagnostic process and post-diagnoses support
- Public information sessions
- Advocacy and referrals
- Development of life skills
- Healthy eating/cooking workshops
- Nutrition bingo
Traditional support services can include:- Elders support and advice
- Indigenous healthy cuisine
- Talking circles
