Description des services:
|
Coordinates the delivery of health care services to the Anishinabe people across the Sioux Lookout region
Provides services to reduce, control and manage the incidence of tuberculosis (TB) in First Nations communities Services offered and delivered are:- Case finding and management
- Provide anti-tuberculosis drugs for treatment and prevention
- Educate and support patients hospitalized with TB
- Provide disease case therapy and follow-up
- Support and facilitate Directly Observed Therapy (DOT)
- Maintain and update the TB database
- Provide support and education to health care providers and community members
- Assist in maintaining and updating the First Nations and Inuit Health Information System (FNIHIS)
