Description des services: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Fort William First Nation
  • Tribal Council: Nokiiwin Tribal Council (NTC)
  • Political Territorial Organization: Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)
  • Robinson-Superior Treaty


Provides employment related support and training initiatives for community members

Offers the following services:
  • Assessments of skills and experience
  • Information about a variety of careers and occupations
  • Local labour market, employment and training opportunities
  • Information and referrals to other community support and services
  • Assistance with resume writing, computer and internet use, fax and photo copy
  • Assistance in developing effective job search strategies and resume preparation
  • Advice for preparing for interviews and employment
Programs offered may include:
  • Disability supports
  • Entrepreneurial development
  • Mobility and employment start-up assistance
  • Purchase of training
  • Wage subsidy
  • Youth work experience program
