Description des services: Strives to empower Indigenous women, youth and families to end the cycle of family violence by providing support services, and enhancing their skills and knowledge in areas of wellness

  • Provides support to families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, Transgendered and Two-Spirited (MMIWGT2S)
  • Works in collaboration with the Family Information Liaison Unit
  • Services include:
    • Trauma-informed services to families of MMIWGT2S and survivors of violence
    • Advocacy and crisis support
    • One-on-one counselling to clients who have been victimized or who have experienced abuse
    • Development of a plan of care for clients
    • Workshops such as safety planning, self-care and healing circles
    • Referrals to other supports as needed
