Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Muskrat Dam First Nation- Tribal Council: Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA)

Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related servicesMaintains a public works garagePerforms a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:- Road maintenance
- Landscaping and community beautification
- Street lighting
- Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and sewage treatment plants; completed a major upgrade to Water Treatment Plant in Sep 2019 to allow the system to be in compliance with federal and provincial regulations
- Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes
- Snow removal
- Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
- Garbage collection and maintenance of on-reserve landfill site
Capital Planning- Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
