Description des services: Strives to empower Indigenous women, youth and families to end the cycle of family violence by providing support services, and enhancing their skills and knowledge in areas of wellness

Promotes healthy individuals, families and communities with regard to family violence
  • Provides culturally appropriate support services, resources, educational materials, and workshops to address community wellness needs
  • Provides cultural teachings and direct traditional activities such as sweat-lodges, medicine picking and drumming
  • Delivers the workshops in individual communities
Offers workshops including but not limited to the following topics:
  • Problematic alcohol and substance use and solvent abuse
  • Bullying and cyberspace
  • Family violence
  • Healthy relationships
  • Healthy families and surviving responsibilities
  • Problematic prescription drug use
  • Self esteem
