Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Ojibway Nation of Saugeen- Tribal Council: Unaffiliated
- Political Territorial Organization:

Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:- Offers a Police detachment and services
- Provides a Fire Hall and a community School
- Provides health care services at the Ojibway Nation of Saugeen Health Centre
- Currently constructing a Community Centre
- Hospital services available at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre
- Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service, Northwest Region; main office Sioux Lookout
- Child and Family services provided by Tikinagan Child & Family Services
