Description des services: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Animbiigoo Zaagi'igan Anishinaabek First Nation

Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:
  • Child and Family Services worker provided through Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, Nipigon office
  • Health care services available at Beardmore Regional Health Centre and Nipigon District Memorial Hospital located 57 km S of Beardmore
  • Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) services, Beardmore Detachment
  • Administers all services through the Band Office and Health Office in town of Beardmore; reserve land base is on Partridge Lake (created and finalized in May 2008)and is currently under development as the eventual home for community members
  • Established the first building, a community pavilion and picnic shelter. on reserve land in summer of 2013
  • Maintains the Auden Ombabika Cemetery located in the now-abandoned village of Auden, near Beardmore, where most older community members grew up
  • Hosts an annual Christmas party and celebrates National Aboriginal Day
  • Organizes a 3-day Annual Elders Gathering at Partridge Lake
  • Provides a variety of health programs including a Good Food Box Program
