Description des services: Manages the daily operations and administration of the Township of Alberton

  • Operates a volunteer fire department
  • Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code
  • Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires
  • Provides fire safety and prevention education
  • Participates in Mutual Aid and Automatic Aid with other municipal fire departments in the Rainy River District
