Description des services: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to seven First Nation communities

  • Provides technical and professional advisory services and training to enhance the overall management skills and opportunities of the area First Nations in their quest to become self-sufficient
  • Consists of Chiefs and Corporate representatives from each community
  • Delivers programs and services in the areas of administration, finance, economic development, education, membership, health and technical services through local community government
  • Operates the Ge Da Gi Binez Youth Detention Centre
  • Owns and operates Rainy Lake Tribal Area Business & Financial Services Corporation
  • Provides services that respect and reflect the Anishinabe cultural beliefs, traditions and practices
