Provides governance, political support, technical advisory, community development support and advocacy to the five member First Nations in their quest to build self-sufficient communitiesPromotes Indigenous recognition and cultural awareness of the member First NationsConsists of Chiefs and representatives from each communityDelivers programs and services through local community government in the areas of economic development, education, finance, health, and technical services including housing and operations/maintenanceParticipates in and co-hosts the annual Northern Ontario First Nations Environment Conference (NOFNEC) with several other Tribal Councils
