Provides meaningful environmental services and programs and a small retail operation offering earth-friendly products in the city of Thunder Bay
Offers financial assistance for homeowners to take flood prevention measures including sump pumps, backflow prevention valves and weeping tile disconnectionsSump Pump: 50% of the invoiced cost up to a maximum of $1,500 including labour, materials, permit and taxesBackflow Prevention Valve: 50% of the invoiced cost up to a maximum of $1,750 including labour, materials, permit and taxesDisconnect Weeping Tile: 100% up to a maximum of $500 including labour, materials, permit and taxesInstallation of new Storm Sewer Connection: 50% of the invoiced cost up to a maximum of $1,500 including labour, materials, permit and taxesNote:- A licensed plumber participating in the program must be used to perform all the work
- Applicable permits from the City of Thunder Bay Building Division must be obtained
- Original receipts and inspection reports must be shown to EcoSuperior (copies can be provided for application once verification of originals has taken place)

- Applications must be submitted by the property owner, not tenant
- Applications are available on the website or at the office
- Must submit original receipts for contractor labour and materials and a copy of the City of Thunder Bay inspection report

- Available to property owners of a single family residence or multiplex, within the City of Thunder Bay city limits
- Water account (if connected to municipal water service) must be in good standing
