  • Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support services to seven First Nation communities
  • Participates as a member of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)


  • Promotes the safety of each community through the emergency response plans coordinated by the area First Response teams
  • Facilitates intervention, counselling and support group services for community members who are experiencing some form crisis
