Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Ginoogaming First Nation- Tribal Council: Matawa First Nations Management
- Political Territorial

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for youth of the community- Recreation services and facilities include baseball diamond, gymnasium, skating rink and youth centre (former training centre)
- Provides assistance in organizing boys and girls groups for a week at Dilico Summer Camp in East Loon Lake, Thunder Bay
- Supervises and chairs a local youth council
Coordinates and supervises a variety of programs including:- Game nights
- Group fitness classes
- Out-of-town excursions such as youth rallies and cultural events
- Volleyball nights
- Youth workshops on topics of interest
