Description des services:
  • Operates a fully-accredited, 60-bed acute care facility and provides an array of services
  • Administers the William A 'Bill' George Extended Care Facility


  • Provides a labour and delivery unit (maternity floor) with three state-of-the-art labour and delivery rooms and five post-partum beds
    • Offers pre and post natal services through an Integrated Pregnancy Program (IPP) which includes addictions issues and a breastfeeding clinic
    • Provides culturally appropriate education, programs and support to improve the health of Indigenous women and their babies
    • Provides a handbook of tips about caring for a new baby and being a new mother (It's time to bring home your New Baby)
    • Provides information about breastfeeding, immunizations, caring for baby's teeth and playing, reading and talking with baby
    • Materials are available on the Maternity Ward
