Provides a community-based intervention program to assist youth living in at-risk neighbourhoodsSupports youth in their capacity to make healthy life choicesWorks in partnership with families, educators, and community programsSupports youth to find opportunities, solutions and resources to address their own social, behavioural, emotional, educational and employment needsOutreach involves coordinated activities that motivate at-risk youth and their families to make positive life choices including:
- Receiving and sharing information about their interests, concerns and needs
- Providing relevant information
- Guiding, mentoring and facilitating access to programs and services
- Enabling positive community participation
