After using the doorbell, it will shine a blue light, and an ILRC Thunder Bay staff member will greet you and welcome you into the building.

Description des services: Delivers programs and services for and by people with disabilities in the Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario region designed to increase self-directed skill development, employment and recreation opportunities; promotes the Independent Living Philosophy of choice, flexibility, and control


Drop-In activities take place in the Community Resource Hub and are designed to help build peer connections

Includes:
  • access to community resources, printer, computers, puzzles, colouring, fidget toys, snacks and more
  • weekly self-directed programming: craft club, board games, trivia and educational workshops

Note: the Community Resource Hub is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible bathroom available to participants. If accommodations are needed, let staff know. There is naloxone and a sharps disposal bin on-site, as well as first aid kits
