Governed by an elected council of 13 members: the Mayor, 5 Councillors-at-Large and 7 Ward Councillors, municipal elections are held every 4 years
Operates a para-transit service for individuals unable to use the regular transit system for all or part of their trips due to a disability
Lift+ is public transit and services most locations within city limits

- Application required
- Visit the office or website for the form, or call to request form be mailed
- If Transit is unable to determine if you qualify for the service, an in-person interview or a transit skills assessment may be arranged (a ride will be provided at no cost)
Bookings:
- Call up to 7 days in advance to book ride
- Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis; waitlisting is available, if required
