The program runs during the school year from Sep-Jun Monetary donations are accepted through the website; donor can select the community of Thunder Bay to which their donation will be forwarded The program relies on volunteers to help fill the bags. Individuals interested in volunteering can apply at Volunteer Thunder Bay
