Provides a service club for Veterans, including military and Royal Canadian Mounted Police members in active serviceFocuses mainly on and promotes remembrance of the men and women who gave their lives serving in wars and military missions around the worldSupports other organizations financially, particularly medical facilities and equipmentFunds educational bursariesCoordinates the annual poppy campaign fundraiser and various fundraising events

Admissibilité / population desservie:

Must be 18 years of age and older
- Membership open to all Canadian veterans as well as serving and former members of the Canadian Forces, RCMP, The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, other police forces, fire departments and their dependents, and Canadians who subscribe to the purposes and objects of the organization
- Membership also open to members of the general public who are Canadian citizens
- Educational bursaries are only available to graduating high school students with at least 1 parent as a Legion member
