Description des services: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Anishnaabeg of Naongashiing

Functions as the governing centre for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:
  • Conducts business affairs in nearby towns of Morson and Rainy River
  • Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Weech-it-te-win Child and Family Services in Fort Frances
  • Hospital and ambulance services available in Rainy River
  • Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Treaty #3 Police; call 1-888-310-1122 for police services to be dispatched to reserve
  • Offers employment for community members in trapping, fishing and forestry industries; seasonal employment available in summer resorts near community
  • Owns and operates the largest commercial fishing license quota in Treaty #3
  • Receives several radio stations, high-speed Internet and several newspapers
